I am totally burnt out , the weight loss and sleepless will most likely shorten my lifespan. I don’t know what is worse. Continuing my current job and suffering with health or quit and face this unstable economy and rely on spouse. I do have decent savings but it will be hard to get a job back anytime soon Tc: 500k Company: Not Yahoo. Used to work there

Take a break.. I'm sure you have enough savings to take a break and get a new perspective on life and get your health back on track. Take care.

Have an honest conversation with your spouse and quit. I am sure your spouse will support your decision unless he/she/they are themselves going through shit at work. Good luck.

Why quit the job? Quit differently, work enough to balance life, take more vacations and break, spend time doing what you enjoy. Eventually either you’ll be happy and continue working, or happy and get a severance. Can find a small company that pays 20-30% of 500k but incredible work life.

Take a medical leave before quitting your job.

I quit because I hated my job. Left a lot of RSUs on the table. Don’t regret it one bit. Now am looking for a job again. I have savings and I’m not worried.
