For example, protesting in a park or any location that doesn't disrupt commerce is perfectly acceptable, however, roads, bridges, and public transportation should always be off limits.
Some states if you fear for your safety you can drive through protestors on highways or equivalent.
No idea what kind of wise idea it would be to play chicken with your body vs a multi ton metal machine, but to each their own.
