Buffet buys TSMC but not Intel

As a Stanford BA (Econ)/MBA grad I follow tech finance. Warren Buffett bought a 4 billion stake in TSMC. He didn’t buy any stake in Intel. But Intel is getting the 25 billion in taxpayer funds from the chips act. Why would he buy TSMC if Intel who is building fabs in Ohio using free taxpayer money? https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2022/11/15/investing/tsmc-shares-berkshire-hathaway-stake-hnk-intl/index.html

The Stanford MBA thing is so cringe. Do you all start your conversations like that? I also have a top MBA, and I don't go around saying it everywhere.
