SAP comp expectations
Asking for my wife. She works for a biopharma company in thebay area and has 14 yoe. She is into sap fico domain and is an MBA. She is expecting an offer from SAP. The job is mostly remote. Can folks from SAP throw some light on what comp to expect. Do they offer joining bonus, RSUs and yearly RSU refreshes. How are typical yearly bonus numbers? Do they match existing unvested stocks? #finance #consulting Her Current TC: 220k

Don’t expect good comparisons with typical Bay Area companies. SAP pays a bit less, but not as stressful. Upsides and downsides.
If she’s coming from PWC or Deloitte - expect a drop. That pay will not compare, but nor will the hours. SAP is known for lacking motivation.
Bonuses are usually 10-15% of base. I’m not sure how it works for more senior roles but from my experience, RSUs are usually given after working for the company for a few years and showing you’re of value. I didn’t get RSUs till 1.5 years in. I got a signing bonus but I’ve heard that’s not the norm. SAP usually pays less than other Bay Area companies but in my experience, it’s been a really great company to work at.
In advanced levels bonus can be 25% of your TTC

SAP pay can vary a lot depends on your job function. Without knowing what role she's applying it's just a guessing game.

Pay depends on the actual job band she's in. Title doesn't help because it never reflects internal title. No signing bonus or RSUs for me when I started, but it was in a more junior role so not sure about her case. Definitely recommend asking! Pay does vary by location. Typically bonuses have been above 100% for me, but it's all dependent on how the department does. HR will push hard (like most places) to low ball you - be ready! Also, moving up within the company is almost impossible unless you're in Germany. WLB is great 80%, and 20% a shit show (which is better than most places). Overall, I think it's a great company to retire at or start your career at. In between, I would not recommend!
If she has it I think she will float around $240k
Fort industry advisor T4 role, she can get anything between 210- 350k, with 25-30% bonus component. She may get joining bonus, but rsu is usually given after 1yr.
