Yeah, you take on some level of risk with pre IPO stock but typically they pay more at an equivalent level
The tender offer only applies to employees with vested options, which means 80% of total employees with RSUs are not qualified. So it is a game for early employees to cash out. Good luck for the majority when you can sell after the IPO if ever happens lock out period.
