I’m trying to understand how to make the jump from an individual contributor to a leader and people/business manager. I’m 30 with the past 5 years in Medical Device space where I have managed people, trained by new hires, and set business strategies while having the title as a sales rep (all side projects I did with my time at Medtronic). I recently moved to a Healthcare Software company where I was promised the opportunity to lead a team but, that has turned into cold calling all day. Everyone I’ve networked with says I have the background and skills but when it’s time to get the job I don’t get chosen. I’ve even looked to the non-profit space to build my skills managing fundraising teams and coaching board members/CEOs. I’m not really sure what I’m missing here and what I need to do to further my career.#health #healthcare
