Hello, Folks, About to get offer from Broadcom (VMware Team) for Sr. TAM(Technical Account Manager) Internal Job Title says: Tech Support Engineer 4 ( IC - 4) what'd be the offer range for the above role (BasePay, Variable , Joining Bonus and RSUs) TC: 81 lpa (67 fixed + 14 Variable) YoE : 13 years Technology : Professional Services for VMware VCF, Hybrid & Private Cloud. #broadcom #tech
1.2 to 1.3 cr.
Broadcom is not safe.. Maresk is safe.. Why are you leaving ?
60 to 65 Fixed + 45 to 55 Lakh worth RSU. You can expect more RSU money than fixed.
Some data points to help: - If you are getting an SMTS role, then you're already above your 'base' bracket. - Last highest base for SMTS that I heard back in 2023 before Bcom finally acquired, was 63 LPA to a pure Dev role. - Also, please note that legacy Bcom's base bands are atleast 20% lesser than VMW, so now that they are Bcom I am not sure how and what they are going to even match your current base. - there is a 20% variable bonus on your base. - All SMTS of vmw got 158 units of retention RSUs post Bcom's takeover. Which is atleast worth 1.7 Cr currently. This is besides the RSU refreshers they would already have which got converted to Bcom's RSUs. Now , keeping in mind all of the above, you can quite heavily ask for a good quantity of RSUs in the range of 2-2.5 Cr., along with asking for a good joining bonus. P.S: Join Bcom only for money with NO flexibility, 5 days RTO and no employee well being policies whatsoever. Hope this helps !
Thanks a lot @Green . This helps.
Let us know about your offer, once you get that ! Remember, to give back to the community as well ❤️

What’s the point of playing sports if you’re not gonna compete in the Olympics?
I think they should be able to give a decent hike on your current TC.
Since its now broadcom. Trying to know the TC split in terms of Base, Bonus and RSUs.
