TC: $215k I’ve been here for a year. I have a huge interest in the personal development industry and a background in tech. Everyday I learn from wildly intelligent coworkers on the topic of peak performance and personal growth. It’s pretty cool if you’re into those sort of psychological topics. That being said, the company is in growth mode. Expectations are sometimes unclear, roadmaps change frequently, seemingly random comments from leadership can often derail entire projects, and projects aren’t always organized with clear PRDs, well defined target users, problem statements, etc — making it often challenging to navigate projects. These problems are not unique to BetterUp and exist at many other tech companies. We’ve got lots of funding and five year runway. Like most places, it is what you make of it and you have to be a great communicator and persuader while working remotely. I enjoy it and don’t see myself changing companies unless there was a massive financial incentive. Even then, I’d still miss my coworkers and the challenging work of trying to innovate within the personal development industry. What specific questions do you have for me?
