Hi Everyone I have an onsite interview with Bloomberg for Sr. Software Engineering role and this opportunity is really very exciting. I am preparing the LC and System Design for the interviews. But I want to talk to Bloomberg engineers to understand how the technology is and how can I prepare well so that I can clear this interview. Can anyone help me here and I can DM you to get some insights. Please any help is really appreciated in this tough time. TC: 145K #interview #software #bloomberginterview
Can you give more details on which team you’re actually interviewing for? Technology really depends on which teams you’re going to work on. It can really be hit or miss, but most importantly, you should ask about their tech stack during the interview or after you get the offer. I asked to have an additional conversation with the hiring manager after I knew that they were extending an offer just to make sure it would be a good fit tech and culture wise.
Typically you will get 1 hour of coding questions. 1 hour of system design. A chat with senior manager and an HR round. Coding questions are typically leetcodey, and you’ll be able to choose your language. Senior manager round is an “fit” round.
Does anyone ever get an offer if you don't make it to the HR round?
Thanks.. it helps
Try so seem excited when talking about the role. If you seem too unenthusiastic it could be seen as a negative
What should someone expect from the system design round?
145 Is way too low
Yes.. so only looking for change.. any response to my post?
