Laid off in November - on Visa - Still looking - moved to H4, please help.
Title says it all. I’ve been trying to get a job since, had to move to H4 after 60 days. Wife doesn’t have i140 so can’t get EAD. I can still transfer on H1B due to H4. Looking for mid level SDE roles. I bombed Zendesk and Meta. But no one else is even picking up my resume. It’s becoming hard to make mortgage and I’m feeling really low. Can someone help me get interviews via referrals for H1b sponsorships?
Problem is FAANG brand. Most of the companies hire below FAANG salaries. If they see the resume that you are trying to switch from FAANG definetly recruiters think it’s a temporary switch. Anyway hang in. Market is picking up, you should get something soon.
