Lenovo lays off 10% staff

They can’t make a good laptop anymore. It’s the HP model of a handful of laptops value-engineered to shit with different SKUs to dodge price matching.
The only laptops with good build quality are from Apple. I still have an old 2012 MacBook Pro acting like nothing is wrong. I hate that the new Apple Books have everything attached, but the build quality and finish remain great.
System76 makes good laptops, especially so if you care about stuff like FOSS. They also made popos which is a cool flavor of Unix. Only issue I have is I can’t use i3 on it (at least not easily).
