Any good overviews over the interview process? Is Citadel tagged LC + sys design good enough prep? Just passed the OA stage. #engineering #software #swe #citadel
Just a headhunter- basically, they act as an intermediary between internal HR and the candidate. Recruiter also passes questions their team has to me (they wanted me to explain why I left my company prior to G with less than a year of tenure for example).
Please DM me recruiter info .
Headhunter- there’s usually several of them in your LinkedIn dms- any of them should be able to get you at least some interviews
What kind of questions were asked in the OA?
Nothing tricky- cs fundamentals and debugging + an easy coding problem
Whats your YOE out of curiosity?
Less than 3, which I think it fairly typical for NXT
What is nxt
Early/mid-career hiring program for Citadel
Hi OP, can you DM me ? I had a few questions about this opportunity? Unfortunately I can't initiate dms.
I had cleared it once. I didn’t get any LC tagged question but the questions weren’t too hard. Medium at max from algorithm standpoint, long code though. SysDes was pretty easy actually, don’t remember the question but it was straightforward
Sounds good, thanks for the input! Any reason why you decided to not take the offer? (I.e. comp, culture, work, etc)
The teams I talked to didn’t seem to be doing anything interesting. The comp was good honestly but the difference was not enough to justify switching to a new company, relocating to NYC/Chicago, working in a team that didn’t excite me.
