I recently got interviewed for a Business development role at Intel. Had first interview with Hiring manager. Followed by interviews with 7 other folks, including talent acquisition manager. I was contacted by hiring manager on Friday, that he wants to speak again next week. Basically talking to hiring manager again next week after round of interviews with other folks. What it could be? Could this be he wants to extend an offer or wants to know more. I’m tired of this interview process lols. Who normally extend offer? HR or Hiring Manager?
Sounds like an offer. Others potentially had positive feedback and hence HM wants to meet once before extending the offer.
That’s what I think as well, otherwise why would they waste their time. But kind of seems like an overkill. Is this normal?
Not normal, but maybe HM missed something in his/her interview or if it’s been a while after he interviewed you
I had 6 companies interview me for product roles - One interview per day. The tough part was keeping the focus of last conversation I had with the company.
Depends, I’ve had both. This sounds like an offer I’d guess
What’s the typical process for sharing the news? Hiring mangers do it or HR?
