I got an offer for sr sdet role at Starbucks. The breakdown is 130k base /30k sign on /50k rsu vested over 4 years. I also have an offer from Amazon for QA Engineer -II. Dont have the numbers but from the grapevine I think the breakdown will be 120 base/60k sign on split into 2 years/100k rsu. Which one do you guys think is a better offer?

Is this senior barista role? But seriously YoE?
7 years yoe
YOE?working at Starbucks sounds fun. Work at Amazon if you want to dedicate your life to wage slavery
Chances are you might get PIPed before all the RSUs vest
Is that so? Its a qa role so I wasn't too concerned about pip
Position remote?
For now. Starbucks extended wfh till oct 2021
Yeah, I meant if it's a remote position even after that.
I know it sounds petty but I wanted a FAANG in my resume. I know the starbucks role is better as its a senior SDET compared to regular QA role in amazon .
😂
Amazon tc sounds low. Push for 150 base/150+ RSU/sign on sounds right
I doubt they would offer so much for qae 2. The recruiter told me the qae 2 role gets a max of around 180k as gross compensation.
Recruiters job is to get you for as little as possible. You have a competing offer so don’t be afraid to push
