Culture is nonexistent save for the ex-google rockstar vibe in the upper echelons which is cringe. Wlb varies per team, per project, per manager. So my advice is interview whoever is going to manage you as much if not more than they will interview you. Growth opportunities are heavily based on how much you’re liked by your manager not necessarily competence.

I would say culture / WLB varies a lot by org or project being worked on. It honestly seems like dynamic varies heavily across different offices even. People are really nice here but I do often see complaints of favoritism on the eng side of things. I do hear complaints that there’s not enough growth opportunities, company has been rapidly scaling in the last year so is still trying to adjust.
It's been rapidly scaling for more like two years now. Not much excuse to still be having these kind of growing pains.
