Does anyone know what this is? Do only people who are shortlisted have to do it? It looks like some neuroscience game

It’s quite an usual set of games that you have to play. Some of them will have to do with your motor skills that are directly connected to your ability to focus and some of them are strategy related. I did them last week.

Do you know what it’s trying to measure? How does one “win” at this game?

Just looks for your traits such as risk appetite, how you trust others, etc. To win, it will differ year to year, role to role. As each role will have different traits that matter to the success of the role and the business.

It appears they are simply trying to measure your personal traits - your memory, your reaction and quick thinking. There is no really “winning” . some of them are logical designed to measure your strategy and approach but one of the games that has to do with cards had almost no logic because you don’t really have control over what’s happening as the cards are being presented to you and you have to make decisions how far you’re willing to push with your luck. Some of the games measure your ability to change behavior based on behavioral changes and rules of the game

It's a neuroscience based game that gauges your cognitive and emotional traits. Yes it's a neuroscience game that looks to capture your cognitive and emotional traits. There is no wrong or right answers for the game. As every position and company will have a different success model that you are matched against. So what you find suitable for one role, may be not suitable for another role, even within Linkedin. In terms of who is shortlisted to play the games, it depends on the company. e.g. Linkedin may decide that they want all candidates to play the games for one role say for Customer Success Manager, but another role say Account Director they only want a select group of people to play it. I hope that helps. PS: I work at pymetrics.
