Keep Truckin/Motive Layoffs
Today Keep Truckin/Motive technologies laid off 287 people. A sad depressing day. Sales, recruiting and technology were impacted. Hopefully all those impacted can find something quickly.
They just raised 150M in May 2022 to scale development! Now Motive is laying off? They were evaluated at 3B!! What’s the reason they gave?
We/Motive hired a lot of people to grow SMB. With spot rates (what people not part of a large company get paid to transport goods) dropping and diesel prices increasing SMB didn't grow the way we expected
