Looking to move to US, any advice
I am looking to move to US, tried applying directly to jobs available in US from India. But nothing fruitful yet, would like to get some advice on how to go about this. How are you going to get employment visa? Impossible unless you have US green card, US citizenship or existing H-1B. If you don't have all this, first read a little bit about US visa policy. Its much different than other countries. Exception is job in academia.
To get a H1B visa, need an employment offer from US employer, thats what I am trying to get
Like i said impossible. You have better chance of finding an American girl on marry you on chat room than H1 sponsor. Your best bet is L1. Did you also know that part that H1 opens only in April every year? And there is a lottery where chance of clearing lottery is less than 30%? 65,000 visa ans since 2016 250,000 + people applied for them. Unless you are from academia which is an exception. US is full of smart people with advance degree (masters and PhD) who can immediately work. Its not EU or Canada where there is shortage of experienced workers and there is no employnwnt visa quota.
