I got an offer from Revolut Germany for the Senior software engineer. The recruiter mentioned that compensation is divided into 3 parts Base: 125K Stock: 50K Pounds sign-on (4 years) Performance bonus: 1. half-yearly: 2 weeks to 2 month salary (cash) 2. Yearly: 40% to 100% of salary (stock) The performance bonus part looks to be attractive. Since this isn't contractually promised, is this common to get a 40-100% bonus? #Revolut
I can confirm that the bonus can be on the higher end between 40-100% if you consistently get strong performance reviews. It also vests over 3 years with 50% upfront so you need to take that into consideration.

We will not see another person like this
No, it's not common, but Revolut also is not German company. They are still in hiring spree modus, therefore the generous package. Also, the company is not public yet, so your stock part is not that liquid. The base salary for senior position is fantastic.
"Not that liquid" I know people who have been at this place for 3+ years and have never been given a single opportunity to sell. There is no IPO in sight, valuation is very questionable, basically all these "bonuses" are meaningless right now
