Got offer from Intel India (bangalore) Design verification Grade 6 Base: 27L Bonus: 10% JB:5L LTRC:12L vested in 3 years (long term restricted cash) No Rsu Current organisation: Cadence (Pune) Yoe: 3.5 plus T2 level Current base :18L Bonus : 10% Cadence ready to match Intel offer (only base) To promote as lead Engineer T3 Base: 27L RSU: no assurance but promised to provide once they promote Should I stay? #Cadence #Intel #semiconductor #hardware
Why doesn't Intel give rsu?
They said they stopped giving for grad 6
What is ltrc ?
Long term restricted cash
Intel is lowballing you. For 4 yoe i see G7 being offered to external candidates. True that intel does not offer RSU anymore. But your base can be much higher just 0.5 years later if you can push for a G7 offer. Also intel is undergoing a lot of instability and layoffs. Be careful on the team /BU you're joining
guys, LTRCA is a replacement for RSUs here. so don't get confused
Which position?
Dude, stay back at cadence with the counter offer and start looking for a change after a year. You’ll get 15-20% more than what you’ve been offered now.
did you accept intel offer?
My personal Opinion, IFS is not like other teams in Intel, work load will be more(just like QC), As per my knowledge , cadence Pune has pretty decent WLB. If you wish to get into no WLB then go for it. 2nd point is, Bangalore city is costlier than Pune, +traffic and water scarcity problems. If Pune cadence has matched the offer then Pune cadence has upper hand in financial point of view. Bangalore would be too far from your home if you belong to MH/North. Keep all points in mind before making decision.
