That was not the case with me. Extensive rounds including machine coding, hld, and others. I would not consider it as low bar for sure, because few of my friends also interviewed with me but unfortunately didn't get an offer. This is a month back story. Jan 2022
Can you share details that substantiate your point? Low bar is a term something that everyone throws around easily, when the interview process actually got more consistent, with clearer expectations to me as an interviewer compared to years ago. If you say the bar is low, it's only as low as the interviewers put them. Hiring decisions here are based on what interviewers like you and me give.
