Nissan altima decision

I got a new Nissan Altima 2022 cause they actually sold it to me without any extra over markup - I like how it looks and has all features for a cheaper price point. Now I regret it cause reading online reviews shows the cvt transmission is bad (which I didn’t read until later - My mistake) Is there anything I can do ? Any experiences with Nissan cvt ? The dealer does have lifetime limited power train warranty that I got. Tc: 260k

Sell it asap! Buy a Tesla. No transmission no pain.

Selling a financed car is not easy

It is. Just pay it off and sell it. Will lose couple grand or maybe even turn profit in this market who knows.

If you bought it new, it should have a warranty. They will replace it for free.

Yes there is a warranty provided I do maintenance on time

Op - you are overthinking it.. drive it for 5 years and then think about selling or keeping it. The factory power train warranty is for 5 years and it will cover the engine and transmission. Modern Nissan transmissions are just fine. Don’t worry and have fun driving it.

Modern CVT transmission is fine. Just make sure to get it serviced at regular intervals

you’re overthinking bro, it’s a Nissan man you’re fine

Even a "bad" new car is still pretty good these days. It's not like you're buying a 1980s Ford.

I bought an Acura

Good for you.

The CVT is terrible but you can just keep it until the warranty expires
