IDK if it’s from the severe stress but I’m having serious social anxiety at work/just anxiety in general. Im scared shitless to talk to colleagues or turn on my camera during meetings. Before my 1:1 with my manager (which is a fairly lowkey call) I have to mentally prep myself for at least an hour in advance. This is strange because I was on the board of a student-wide org in college and literally TA’d for multiple semesters in a row while in college (i.e having to interact with students/professor all the time). Ive always had a little bit of the jitters when meeting new people but I really don’t know what’s happening to me. Is this a sign of something serious, shd I take a MH leave? #misc
Sounds like you just graduated? I’d be more concerned if you were mid-career and this was happening. It’s not uncommon for recent grads to feel a lot of pressure when making the transition from college to the real world. Especially at a time like this with so many mass layoffs going around. Like swetr said, you should talk to a therapist.
Try propanolol 20 mg
This is serious. I suggest you consult a doctor or a therapist first.
Why would you say that? At least backup your claim instead of giving hand wavy solutions
Just start talking to people. Turn on your camera and act like you belong. The more you act like you belong, the more you actually will belong, and the more you will feel comfortable. Act like youre comfortable -> then eventually you literally will be comfortable

You should talk to a doctor and/or a therapist. We're not qualified.
