How are y’all getting any interviews?
I’m not bragging but on paper I have a great profile. Multiple FAANGs, Snap, Senior SWE etc. but I for the life of me can’t get a single interview call. Resume-level rejection from top companies like Airbnb. Not even a reply from Netflix. How are y’all getting any interviews? 😣 TC: 350k

Is your definition of a "great profile" supposed to be an acronym, your current company & Senior SWE?
This won’t make you feel better because my resume is probably worse than yours… but I’m experiencing same thing. Even small startups and no name companies are rejecting me at the resume level :/
No Block is respectable, it does make me feel better
Fang means more to non-fang like JPMC or Expedia than it does to fang. The other fangs will assume you were dead weight. The non fangs will give you preference over other candidates.
Maybe they think you’ll be too expensive? Believe it or not but I got interviews at every company I wrote a cover letter for. Granted - this was only 2 companies I did this with and I had an insane alignment with the role/company - but still it surprised me. I applied to ~ 30 roles, got 6 interviews, 3 ended at recruiter screen, and 2 ended in offers. No FAANG tier companies - mostly startups. Offers were at a Series B startup and CrowdStrike. 4 YOE applying for Mid/Sr roles.
Which offer did you end up taking?
I went with the startup. It’s not really a startup in the classical sense as it’s a pretty known figure in the outdoors industry with a very profitable product. Their pay was fine (although nowhere near as good as CrowdStrike) but the PTO is bonkers. The team at CrowdStrike also failed my personal vibes check - whereas I am legit stoked for the team with the startup. Similar tech stacks at both (go/k8s/big homebrewed graph database).
