I Have a few applications out there pending, but no movement yet, other than Booz. They offered me a lead associate position in their cyber practice. Few questions: Is lead associate technically a manager role? What other levels are above? The title is misleading IMO Is the work life balance as good as people say compared to B4? Are the salary increases really that bad and infrequent as I have read? Any room to wiggle for more? Hiring manager said their offer was already so high. Also, most likely no sign on bonus. Just trying to justify the jump, if it’s even worth it. Appreciate any insight. Happy to message as well. Thank you. 7 years cyber experience, masters in MIS Current B4 manager salary: 161k + ~$15k annual PB Booz Offer: lead associate - $172k - bonus unknown
Booz is never an opportunity
Honestly, I do slightly feel this way also. But I am in a time sensitive situation and need to move quick. Booz also moved quick which was surprising. Makes me worry in a way 🤣 application to offer was less than 3 weeks during the holidays, lol 😅
Any updates? Did you take it?
Booz Allen offers decent contracts and stability, similar to EY. Do you have a security clearance?
No, I do not currently but will most likely have to get one. That might be the one main benefit if I transition is to get the clearance.
