Wanted to know how well known/reputable they are for tech. I’m particularly interested in their new grad Digital Design (the umbrella term RV uses for their product design and ui/ux positions) but would like to know just overall how others in tech jobs feel about RV, if they even know about it at all. I didn’t know much about them before applying, but I know they own some interesting brands (bankrate, healthline) and just acquired cnet. #tech #redventures
I came in through a recent acquisition. I’ve previously worked at faang and I wouldn’t necessarily call it a tech company but the people are great. The pay is not so great, though. I feel no one really knows who RV is so if you’re looking for a big brand then look away!
They’re based in Fort Mill, SC, just over the border (Charlotte is where most employees live) - awesome place
This place is awful and a shit show. Hire cheap young talent, churn and burn and promote inexperienced. It’s awful, and my time there wasn’t even that bad
Run away..worst offer after interview citing feedback is strong but you don't have experience in our technical stack and so why don't you accept this offer and we will promote you within 3 months and will give you desired compensation. Total waste of time going through their process
When I spoke with the company they indicated they are in Charlotte, NC. It turns out they are actually in SC. Therefore I decided not to fly out for the interview.
Hmm, I know they have a few locations, including in NC, SC, and TX. (Had friends get offers in their austin office.)The one I applied to is in Charlotte
At the time I couldn’t find a NC presence and they confirmed they’re actually in SC when I asked directly. Glassdoor reviewers indicated they had similar experiences. I hope your experience will be better.
