A lot of people here serve money and not God
Saw some negative feedback about the company, but wanted to get specific info about the product design team at Navan (formerly TripActions). Anyone on the team or has talked to/worked with the design leadership of the company can share info? Avoid at all cost or should I pursue? Ps. Not offer yet. Just doing some research. #productdesigner #navan #tripactions
They required a take home test 3-4 years when I interviewed with them. Not sure how it is now. Wonder if all the negative press they got made them rebrand to Navan.
I thought they were changing the name back to TripActions. https://navan.com/press-release/navan-re-rebrands-back-to-tripactions
And how was your experience with them?
I’m truly so glad to be away from the company. Talk about toxic.
Would you mind elaborating on this?
I’ve never been apart of company with management as bad as this. They have favorites who will be promoted without justification but hardworking people will get disregarded and eventually let go for speaking up. The C suit is full of drama and they all have shady pasts. Look up Ariel or Grant for context.
Don’t. (A fellow designer)
Avoid at all costs as the team clearly lacks direction and leadership
Go check backgrounds of VP then you will have a question about what qualifications enabled her to become the VP? And if you don’t see the answers in her past experience then you can basically conclude that she’s not qualified to be at that position. The only reason is she is a good friend with Nina H - former CPO, now GM. Also they hired a extremely toxic ux director, she literally fired all managers in Palo Alto office after she joined and hired a bunch of her friends. This is how this company works.
depends which team …
