Recent International Grad : Need HELP

Hi there, I have a friend who is a recent MS CS graduate with internships at LinkedIn as ML-AI and Deutsche Bank as Tech Analyst. A strong research background with 59 citations in total for 8 publications. They are looking for preferably ML- AI or Data Science roles but open to Software roles too. As an international student, it’s proving extremely difficult for them. They had interviews with Deepmind, ModularAI, and several other startups but in the end getting rejected with reasons being - people are looking for more experience or need stronger coding/system skills. They are extremely frustrated rn because how do you get experience without getting experience? Please let me know if you can put them in contact with recruiters or give referrals.
