Hello Blinders, I had put up a post last week asking for advice and I got an overwhelming amount of support and responses. Some of you all were kind enough to ask for my resume and then provided some insight to improve my resume. Here's the revamped one! Would really appreciate your thoughts on it. The entry under projects is a side project i took @ SAP. Completely belongs to them though. Had 2 others , but didn't have enough room. #resumereview
Zero interviews??
Unfortunately yes.
Third job first bullet is weak. Sounds like all you did was production support and optimized a spreadsheet. Define what those “robust solutions” are and what tech stacks you used and how it improved response time. Like you made error messages more descriptive, you put together a robust run book, or you coached someone to level them up.
Yup I agree! Will change that!
Do the words implemented or integrated sound like I'm not actually doing any developmental coding?
What jobs are you applying for with that?
SDE and SWE, Entry to Mid Level
You should stick with entry level, your resume is too fluffed
Not enough AI or prompt engineering
Looks good but the market is shit right now. Similar situation here but I have only applied to 20 jobs so far in 1 month. Definitely not mass spamming before they blacklist.
Too much text didn't read
How tf do y’all apply to so many positions?
this is a good example of why having masters doesn’t add any value.
Too loaded, you lost me in the 3 first seconds, next.
God those "/"s really threw me off
They are better than ‘,’
Yea commas to me looked bad, plus whenever I used auto fill, the commas would show up next to the technology like: Python, Java, in the skills section. " / " completely solved that
