We take anonymity seriously here at Blind. We understand you might not want to participate in some discussions because you want to keep some things private or avoid inadvertently revealing yourself. We hear you, which is why you can now hide your company name when you write a post, comment or reply. Here’s how it works: - Update your Blind app to the latest version. Tap My Page on the bottom menu and select Store. - Buy (post) Hide Company with B Money. You’ll need one Hide Company credit for each post you want to write without your company name. (We believe purchases help prevent abuse.) - Activate Hide Company when you write a post, comment or reply to hide your company for that post. - Your company name won’t be visible for the entire post, including all comments and replies. As a community of verified professionals, we believe company names help provide more credibility to the open dialogue and collaboration on Blind. We hope the added anonymity can help you speak your mind, even if you work on a small team, office or company.
It cost money to be an anon on Blind. This can’t seriously be your business plan. Right?
🤣
Here's another idea: 10 blind credits to reveal the identity per post/comment etc. Blind can make a lot of money with that business plan 😁
Is this a joke?
Telling us we have to pay for anonymity is like Microsoft telling us we have great culture and need no merit. So no, you didn’t hear us, you just heard money ringing.
"VC funds are drying up, pls help"
Blind is trying to implement features that work on the korean version. Your PMs are just too lazy. Why are they even getting paid?
Who is asking for this?
Can you remove the comment pop up when voting on polls? It’s really annoying and a bad dark pattern.
It is insane, who the f though it was a good idea
Just stop voting on polls. Whatever dumbass PM drove that feature will see their metrics fall
2024: Purchase more 🅱️ money or we will leak your posting history to your employer
Say anything remotely criminal and they have to share...
$4 per post is comically bad, but I think this feature is dumb so I don't really care. Nobody is going to figure out your identity at a company with 10k+ employees
A better feature would be allowing a username change for one thread only, where all comments to that thread are with the same user name (for consistent discussion) but posts to other threads are not with that username This will prevent people being doxxed by someone connecting details from one thread ("I work on the S3 team and") with details revealed on another ("I just returned from maternity leave and") where when put together it really identifies the individual.
