The interview process was okay, kind of disorganized and disjointed. They didn't seem to know exactly how they wanted to evaluate me and they kept on adding more steps to the process. At the end of the process, they made an offer and only then did I realize that they down-leveled me from the initial position that we talked about, without even telling me. Lastly, they have a very confusing compensation structure that makes it difficult to assess what they are actually offering you. There are some incentive plans and a base salary, but you can't quite tell what you'll get. Not to mention that they were not even able to match my current base salary. All in all, not necessarily a bad experience, but quite mediocre.
For which location did you attend interview? Do they offer good salaries?
It's remote, the salaries are also listed on the job postings. It's basically only base compensation. They have some strange incentive based compensation structure, but I wouldn't count on that

Retire by 45? Rate my NW, lifestyle creep and portfolio
I also recently completed my first round interview there for Director level role and and did a 20 minute panel with 3 different people, including HM. They asked good behavioral questions and overall it was a good experience but very short and I didn't have time to ask questions from each interviewer. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. Waiting on next steps. Did you take the role? Sounds like probably not since compensation seems it may have not been inline with your expectations.
I did not take the role, it wasn't due to the compensation though. I've taken roles with lower compensation than what I was expecting in the past. The problem was that they changed the nature of the job part of the way through the process without informing me. I also felt like it wouldn't be a good step for me for my career. I would have been the most senior and knowledgeable person on the team in my subject matter and I wanted to be on a team with people I can learn from.
