I've solved 755 problems on Leetcode. The split being 327 easy, 375 medium and 53 hard problems. I've also worked through nearly all of the problems on the top facebook problems list, and was able to do most of them without much difficulty. And so I was feeling pretty good last week. However, this Sunday I started working through the general top interview problems list. My experience with those has unnerved me a little and given me some pause. I was able to do many of them just fine (I have about 30 or so left), but I found some of the medium problems on that list to be pretty damn challenging. For these problems there was no easily applicable technique, they demanded I analyze the problem carefully and I had to try out multiple ideas to get a working solution. These kinds of problems would take me anywhere from 30 - 60 minutes to complete. I'm terrified at the possibility of getting a problem like this during an interview. So now what? Is this a sign I need to prep some more? Or should I just accept that there's an element of luck in these interviews regardless of how much I prepare? #swe
Look If you had One shot Or one opportunity To seize everything you ever wanted In one moment Would you capture it Or just let it slip?
The farther you push back the more pressure you put on yourself and you may end up doing worse. You're ready for it. You got this. People have gotten into fb without doing any lc. You're good to go.
Iāve done at most 10 LC ever and Iām still going for E6 next week. Sounds like youāll walk the LC part. Me Iām hoping my good nature and fast problem solving comes over.
You have done enough, do the fb tagged one again and just go for interview! You will be fine!
Do more hard questions. Helps develop the thinking process.
Omg 755 lc problems! There was a time when all you needed to get a swe jobs was to fizzbuzz and know why man holes are round. This industry has gone banana.

> why man holes are round Wait... Are women holes different?
You got this! Go for it!
If it's phone interview no. I lost the job because I pushed the date back by 1 week to study more. All of the open positions were filled in that time. This was during the pandemic after a lot of layoffs though so idk if that many people are applying to your same role now.
FB loves LC
