Has anyone been fired for telling HR you have depression?
Hey all you beautiful people of Blind, Anyone have any idea about Avenue Code in SF? Friend is interested in a dev job there. What’s the culture like and the TC expectation for someone with 2 YOE? Thanks ✌️ #avenuecode
As mentioned, culture is dependent on the client. Company might still be figuring out direction. TC is average
It's a good consulting company, however it's exactly what folks above described. You gonna be assigned to a client and will follow its rules/culture.
It’s a consulting firm. Normally in consulting you work as a contractor for the client company, so company culture doesn’t matter. Basically it’s nothing but a white color corporate slavery. What ever the client says you will be implementing it and most of the time you have no say.
Right...my friend is aware it’s a consulting firm. Any idea about culture or TC though?
Culture depends on the client he/she will be working with as he/she will be at the client location everyday. I guess with 2 years of experience in Bay Area the TC will be around max 110k and avg 90k. It would be better than most of the Indian h1b firms.
