I have 10 years of experience in maintaining ans tuning large scale java based systems. Automated lot of build process and deployment process . I have truly achived 100% uptime even during deployment process ( without impacting seasions) . Can tune java gc and db (through awr) . Lot of experience in sizing and handling huge traffic during thanksgiving .also Hands on experience in ansible , jenkins and aws/oracle cloud/rackspace . Why in the world i am not getting calls . I live in dallas , is that the problem ? Anyone here able to review my resume
-One thing I would recommend is double or triple checking spelling in your resume. -When I lived in Dallas I had no problem getting DevOps gigs (contracts), but actual jobs with stable companies was few and far between. -Can you move to Austin or Seattle? -Don’t focus on the uptime you provided. Talk about your actual experience building and automating infra and how you streamlined the build/config of apps.
