Seems like Apple TV+ is the only relevant thing.
They need a holding company and divide into multiple independent companies with different product lines. It's hard for one CEO to manage.
how to incentivize employees with stock then?
PayPal look up alphabet structure. Waymo or verily is still “different” company but employee get alphabet stock

Everyone still buys the iPhone. Maybe like Sony in the Walkman era of the 80s, but even then, not everyone had a Walkman.
I think macbooks are apple's best products, everything else is overpriced and not worth it
MacBooks are overpriced af + it's a jailed os which phones home everytime you run an app
They're not as overpriced as apple's other products (iPhones for thousands of dollars??? imacs?), plus I actually like the OS - that's a big reason I buy macbooks, from consumer perspective i think it's a perfect balance of convenience, flexibility and not having to fuck with the OS yourself all the time. Plus they really are premium top of the line laptops that are really well built - there aren't many competitors that can say the same about their laptops (again, not the case for phones, there are tons of equally great quality, slightly or significantly cheaper phones, like 1+ or Google pixel)
Apple has good chips M3 Max is super impressive. Integrated hardware is the way.
