Options for Medical insurance during gap
I’m leaving the current job soon, will get onboard for the next one after a few months. What are the options for medical insurance coverage during the gap months? Might travel internationally during the time. Thanks for any tips. TC: 600k Yoe: 12
COBRA or Healthcare marketplace aka obamacare - you have 60 days to decide. Both will cost you probably similar and will give you similar coverage. COBRA could be a little more expensive
How to opt into cobra? Since it’s just a couple months. Don’t really care much about cost difference , convenience is the thing :)
Will get insurance number / card immediately via cobra?
