Hi Folks, I have an offer from LinkedIn Bangalore for Senior Software engineer role. I have 8 years of experience and my current employer is Microsoft. Here are my offer details. Base Salary: 61L INR Stocks: 182k USD (for 4 years) Performance bonus - 10% base - 6.1L Employer PF: 2.92L Employer Gratuity: 1.17L Total Compensation (Salary +Bonus+ Stock + PF + Gratuity): ~1.02Cr INR My current comp at Microsoft is 50L, but I don't want to evaluate any offer based on that as Microsoft pays peanuts and that shouldn't be the comparison index. I want to understand few things, help please? 1. I'd like to move to US. Does LinkedIn send engineers to US easily/often (recent anecdotal evidence helps). Things have changed a lot after COVID , at least in Microsoft , and I never had the chance for international relocation. 2. I'd ideally like staff software engineer role for my experience and goals. Great offer. Not a lowball for your yoe. You seem to have calculated it low, the total tc is 1.08-1.1 cr actually.
