L4 Google -> 45 interviews, 5 offers, AMA
I’m currently a sr strategic account manager. I’m thinking about making the move. Tired of the same stuff - and I was promised shares and a raise which never came even though I’m a top performer. Been here 3 years. Anyway, I’m looking at heading to another role...but I want to make sure I move to something that progresses my career. I was hoping perhaps a global account manager or management role. I see there’s a lot of account executive roles as well. Any recommendation if it would make sense to go to AE role? Or would that be a downgrade? And whats the best way to apply to the big tech companies like Microsoft and Google? I just don’t want to let go of my seniority so easily...want to make sure I find the right fit. At this point I have 4.5 years of SaaS sales experience.
