Be cautious of recruiting leadership! -auth0
I interviewed here and by no way would I ever have joined. The manager was extremely rude on the phone and it was obvious he only took the call to get information on my current company and if his sales team could sell to them. It was by far a massive waste talking to the recruiting manager. When we finished talking and wanting to learn more about the business he had no relevant answers. When call ended it made me laugh when he gave feedback and was clearly obvious he was irritated I didn’t give him my past companies iam info. When I mentioned it’s confidential he asked again and was honestly beyond shocked. When I gave feedback on how I wasn’t comfortable he basically just hung the phone up. If your a sourcer or recruiter do ask as many questions so you don’t have the same experience. Also for the company he didn’t understand the business. Im not sure how you can be a manger/recruiter when you can’t even explain the simplest aspects.
Sounds more like a sales/proapecting effort packaged as an interview. They wanted you to spill the beans so they could target sales efforts. Sounds underhanded.
They’re a horrible company and lie about a lot. You dodged a bullet.
I so did! I was so shocked and for clarity this was for a recruiting closing role and by no means should he have been asking direct platform questions when clearly I said I cant share. I would never work for their team
Sorry to hear you went through such a poor hiring experience. You handled the situation well. They shouldn’t turn it into a sales call. And they should be able to talk about what we do. And feedback ... well they should obviously be open to it.
