Kind of hilarious thinking about how so many Microsoft friends I know are just coasting what do you all think?
I think some smaller player will unlock new opportunities using AI. And MS will literally copy it and pump money into it to come out at top. If anything, MS will upsell it to all the boring enterprises that are tied at the hip to MS. Basically how Teams screwed Slack.
Google hired the weakest people on my teams. 🤣
Maybe they were busy preparing for these crazy interviews.
Going big on AI is going to be the biggest misstep of satya
It’s just another hype cycle. Stock price seems to agree with it. Next year it will be something else.
Roblox, should he have invested in the metaverse?

AI is already becoming, and will continue to become, an open source project. I think the large commercial models are unlikely to win any foundational bets beyond the immediate future. Things are tending to smaller models trained w more highly curated data. Google came to a similar conclusion in a widely circulated leaked doc last year. Long-term, MSFT may dominate AI applications (especially enterprise applications), but there is space for a lot of winners in that market
He who has the chips will win
I don’t know for certain if that’s going to matter too much since the trend recently is more performant smaller models. Not sure that is going to continue, but seems plausible.
