Not AI but a simple rule engine trading crypto tokens across several exchanges with slight price differences and pocketing the difference. Barely makes a little more than I pay in commissions now but it had huge margins when big moves occurred last year.
I guess I could enhance it with AI. Honestly the lowest hanging fruit isn't AI, it's more accurate estimation of transfer delays and costs (assuming LTC for fast transfer across wallets)
I looked at this but the transfer times are so high and crypto was so volatile that I couldn’t predict what’s the value by the time transfer actually completes
Yes, but it was years ago on the equity, options and futures trading side. The easy pickings vanished from the market 6-8+ years back. These days if you don't have an edge you are more likely the sucker than not. If you want to play that game go work at a quant fund or trading shop for a few years to learn what people do that works these days. Dont go off trying to play against big boys investing hundreds of millions in infra, networking, servers, and algortihm development.
Easy pickings are still there. You can go after stock options with low volume and liquidity and small margins. It's tiny enough to be ignored by the big guys but ez $50-$100 per trade if you know to look
Yeah, options are the best place to mine. But that isnt scalable and the returns per unit time are not great without a lot of order book management and trading automation. Even then not clear how much you can scale it.
Yea lots of my friends at prop shops do this for a living
I used AI at work and got my paycheck - does that count?
Hahaa no
What do you do btw?
