I was scheduled to join AMD via h1b transfer(approved) on April 27th but the recruiter postponed the start date to May 18th stating that AMD has "apparently" stopped virtual onboarding and want day 1 to be on site. Can any of the AMD folks help me with what's happening? #interview #career #hardware
This is what is happening: https://www.amd.com/en/corporate/amd-covid-19-response For the limited number of employees working on-site maintaining our critical business functions, we have implemented additional processes to protect their health and safety. These include health screenings and temperature checks at building entrances, strict social distancing procedures, and adjusting work shifts to reduce density
Hey could you refer me at AMD for business operations.
I wouldn’t bother too much about it. I know another person joining on 18th
I am joining on May 18th as well
Enjoy your free time while you can
I'm joining on the same date as well. I wonder if the shelter in place continues till May end, would we still be considered to join on May 18.
What role?
