Three weeks ago my recruiter said I've cleared HC and that we would be moving to the final step of the hiring process, which is team match. I filled the placement form and all that. However, since then, I didn't have a single call. Is that normal? #google #hiring #teammatch #hiringcommittee
Google is a waste of your time. They'll make a lowball offer. If you can pass the Google interviews, you've got better options, really. But since you're at that point, do the team matching, but find something else in parallel, that you'll likely get faster and for better TC.
I have a couple of downsides though: I don't live in America, and I'm a new grad. The market is not very welcoming here in my country. I only have a year of full time experience.

Programmers are the smartest people in the world
New normal: People stuck in TM for 6+ months, eventually either moving with other companies or recruiter marking the application status as “candidate withdrew” and telling candidate there’s no headcount.
Well, that's a bummer
Does it help at all to reach out to HMs on Linkedin or ask internal googlers to check open positions on the internal board and have them reach out directly?
