Anyone have experience going through Amazon's Tech U Program. Amazon describes it as the following: "an accelerated career development program for those who want to advance both their technical and business skills...this unique program consists of a 6-month instructor lead, project-based learning curriculum ( followed by a 6-month On-the-Job Training (OJT) learning assignment within Solutions Architecture, Technical Training, or Professional Services Consulting" Anyone here gone through the program and have more insight on it. Seems like a program for new grads trying to go the the professional services side of Amazon.
Sweet, what is the final round like any idea?
No clue, recruiter said she'll contact me after the holidays to schedule a final riund virtual interview. Since the first round was all technical for me, I am assuming the final round will be mainly behavioral and LP questions
Hear anything yet? Do you know if final round will be another 45 mins?
Gocha, which position did you apply to?
TAM
Cool, seems like this is a new program. I asked this question before, dont think anyone was able to provide info
How is the TC like, asking as they also have Solutions Architect 1 and TAM position for ~3 yrs experience so confused abt whether one shd apply for those or Tech U program.
Not sure exactly, would like to know this too.
Any updates here? Just did virtual for SA.
Can I ask about the interview process on DM?
Sure, I replied already
Anyone has updates on this, interview style, how to prepare, pros & cons etc
Is it alright if I dm you? Considering applying and this has been the most helpful post I've found
Any updates please? About to go through the same process
Any updates about this program? I just finished taking the tech assessment and waiting for the behavioral questions. I am preparing for the leadership questions but would like to hear more about anyone's experience.
How was the tech assessment?
Would like to hear more into this... currently I'm going through the interview process
Same, the interview process seems extremely short and easy compared to what SDE's at amazon have to go through. All I had was a first round technical interview and am now waiting to have my final round scheduled.
