AWS interview prep help

Hello, Ive been working for a manager who doesnt really have my best interests at heart and would lose me at any chance he gets. The last 4-5 minths have been very stressful and honestly confidence shattering. I have luckily gotten an interview with AWS and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on how the interview process is for teams in SF/Seattle/Bangalore. What are red flags, what are the must haves for a good candidate? YOE: 1.5. TC: $145k. Bellevue.

Interview process same in Amazon retail and in AWS. 3 technical rounds 1. problem solving, coding, Algorithms, insists on highest standards 2. Low level design, Are right a lot, dive deep 3. High level design. Think big, dealing with ambiguity 4. HM: team fit, earn trust, 5. Bar raiser: problem solving, ownership, customer obsession More or less these are the loop structure. Please concentrate on the Leadership Principles. You. An search in Google. Problem solving, coding are generally leetcode easy to medium not very hard. Coding needs to be perfect, catch corner cases do dry run. LLD, ask clarification, grokking low level design questions are good practices. Do a dry run and check whether the design extendable or not. Use associations over Inheritance, write good code, apis etc. HLD: partitioning, sharding, load balancing, little bit network. Ask for scale, define trade offs, think for debugging the system, Microservice model etc. Read grokking-the-system-design-interview BR and HM mostly behavioral questions and on leadership principles, hard to prepare here, they will ask from your previous work. Read about Amazon leadership principles in Google. Best of luck.
