Hi, I'm trying to plan for an AWS L6 SA offer that I hope comes in today. In the call before my loop I was told offers were going out for $220k to $250k for the DC area. I didn't give a number that I was expecting but said my research yielded wildly varied amounts from $160 to $440 online. Is it better to counter on the phone or email. Is there some good tactics to apply, such as 'i can accept right now if I get $x' etc. I'm also still waiting on another offer from a startup so waiting a few days could work out. Thanks!
Negotiate with an RC? They just schedule interviews. Wait for your recruiter to follow up and ask for what you want.
If they gave you that range, it may actually be difficult to get above that range.
Itβs going to be in that range. If you want more - you will have to move up the band,
Phone is cool ππΎ You donβt have to take the offer then and there Set up a call to go over it later and then negotiate or give the Recruiter some nos to work with.
