AWS L6 GAR offer: $160k base $60k sign on year 1, $50k year 2 60 RSU Year 1 OTE: $329,000 Stripe Enterprise AE: $135k base $20k sign on $42k of stock/year (fixed $ amount) Year 1 OTE: $332,000 Splunk RSM: $170k base $25k sign on 200k RSU/4 years Year 1 OTE: $415,000 All are sales roles with a 50/50 base and variable split except for at AWS where it’s 60/40. AWS allows reps to roll out of bed and be at 60% of their number. Stripe has tons of room for career growth but has capped earnings for new hires by adjusting their RSU grants as I understand it. Splunk has had a few bad earnings misses as of late but it’s a great tool and I am confident they will recover. Reps there do very well. Very little insight to the sales culture there Which offer would you move forward with!?
the highest number
whats the sales bonus look like? enterprise is a hot space for us right now and i personally love our sales team. Really great group of people.
I can tell you it's feast or famine at splunk on the sales side. The more tenured reps get assigned the best and most lucrative accounts whereas the newer reps get the greenfield and not as desirable accounts and are expected to prospect hard. There's also increasing competitive pressure thats marking it much harder to close deals as of late. Whats your location?
Location would be NYC. Any insight to the territories/attainment/culture there?
Nope sorry I'm based on west coast. Which segment would you be in: field or strategic?
Post quotas or GTFO
What did you end up choosing?

What did you end up choosing op? I’m in a similar boat so just trying to see how you made the decision and what your experience has been since
What did you choose?
What is GAR, AE, and RSM? Also what is your YoE?
Global Account Rep, Account Executive, and Regional Sales Manager 8 YoE TC $260k
I believe AWS can match Stripe’s offer. However, GAR required a lot of traveling pre-COVID. AWS basically sells itself though so I know a lot of people there were happy with their insanely high performance bonuses. However, as usual with AWS, expect long hours. Also at Stripe, the culture, WLB, and growth are great but expect cold-calling.
