About to switch (h1 transfer) and visa extension with current company

I am about to switch soon and have already filed for h1 transfer but my current company also wants to file my h1 extension and the attorney has asked me to fill a questionnaire for the ext where it is asked “will u continue working for ur employer until ur new h1 petition is filed with USCIS?” I am not sure what should I answer to this, if I answer no then I am afraid my manager will come to know about it which I do not want (sply until the premium starts) and If I answer yes then I am not sure if I’ll have any visa issues later. Any suggestions?
