I am recently noticing some of the interview experiences at Google India, all 5 rounds are LC hard. Astonishingly the guy posting the most recent Hyderabad interview 3 days ago, faced 1 medium and 2 hard problems in the same round !!!!! Is this a joke ? What exactly are they looking for by asking absurd level of difficult problems in a 45 minutes interview? Is this thing only happening in India offices? How are the recent experiences at the US?
Too much talent, too few jobs
Solving 2 LC hard in 30 min means they can solve 2 LC hard in 30 min. It doesn’t mean they have talent or can build a good product. Do you think John Carmack could pass the google India interview?
That easily means you literally have to know the problem beforehand and the solution. Else you are eligible for a Turing award 😀
As if Google India is going to lead the next Mission Mars 😂 Pretty sure these engineers are just going to sit and change the color of a button. Grow up Google India. Grow up IITians.
I am curious what's the case with other offices ? The most recent Hyderabad one was an absolute joke. Imagine getting 2 hards and one medium in a 45 minutes interview.
Shh, they don't know that. Google India has v few opportunities compared to Amazon/Microsoft which have big dev centers in india
I heard Google Australia is very easy. Try applying there
Australia has issues with work sponsorship
Since trump is in the country this week and google is US based company, you could take the chance and raise an official complaint in person.
Lol
Its fucking india, do you realize how many people are applying for that job?
sad
I got one LC medium and 2 LC hard in one round in Google MTV the LC medium was the original but i kept on solving it and they kept on making it harder and harder to see how far I could go.
Amazon India is stupid hard as well apparently
Too many people, too few openings. Plus Google India has quite a few competitive programmers, so they’ll love asking hard questions.
They gotta thin the crowd some way or the other, especially for SDE1 and SDE2 interviews
