Hey y’all. Accenture is one of those companies I desire to be a part of so badly! Has anyone gone through their apprenticeships? Any tips to get hired?
Consulting firms hire you based on your experience. If you don’t have any relevant experience that they could use you for then you will want to get an MBA or something along those lines to get in that pipeline, otherwise you’ll have no shot.
Thanks!!
What are your career goals? Honestly having been in consulting I feel the “prestige” is all just good marketing and corp koolaid. Most of the time you’re better off going to a tech company for better pay, wlb, and benefits.

This is so true. These consulting companies pay 0, little interesting work, terrible wlb, hcol areas, just great marketing to pull you in.
Nothing wrong with Accenture that I know of, but I recommend you don't tie your identity or goals to an individual company. There are a lot of paths to money, title, "prestige", wlb, whatever other things you want. Once you've been inside at a few companies, you will see that they are basically all the same thing and it's more about the team/manager and role than the company.
Brands are nice to have on the resume for the recruiters to find you, but there are lots of good/decent brands out there.
